Marta Sienkiewicz has been associated with Homo Faber since 2008. Since 2009 she has been working on integration of foreigners in Lublin. During her work at a help centre she assisted foreigners studying and living in Lublin, serving as contact for arrivals from the East (Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazachstan, etc.).
She has organized informative meetings in Lublin colleges, with students, their caretakers, and administrative workers. She has realized three editions of project „Akademia Homo Faber” (“Homo Faber Acaddemy”) pertaining to program Młodzież w Działaniu.
In 2012 – 2013 she ran a day care centre of the Lublin Centre for Foreigners as part of the project „Wsparcie integracji dzieci uchodźców” (“Integration Support for Refugee Children”).
Since 2011 she has been responsible for the programme and technical support of the Watch Docs Film Festival. Human Rights on Film Festival. She is currently coordinating Polish language lessons for foreigners, and is the first contact for volunteers in Homo Faber.
Since September 2018 Marta has been in charge of administration at Homo Faber, working on promotion and communication. She also coordinates the work of the anti-discrimination advice point of Homo Faber, cooperating with a team of lawyers.
Having graduated in Clinical Psychology at UMCS, since March 2010 Marta is a certified therapist.
