How long does the program last?

Due to this being a test run, the project will run for six months. 

What kind of support can l receive? (Migrant)

You may receive help with housing, food, healthcare, job assistance,
language classes, and legal advice. The type of support depends on your
situation and the services available within the group.

Can I work while receiving support? (Migrant)

It depends on your visa or residency status. Some migrants are allowed to
work, while others need special permits. You can ask a legal advisor or the
support center within the group for guidance.

What should l do if l need a place to stay? (Migrant)

We will try our best to assist you in finding a place to live.

Do I need to know other languages? (Migrant)

Before you meet the person you will be supporting, we will know what language they speak and we will let you know. You can engage in activities that do not require advanced knowledge of a foreign language.

Can I quit during it? (Patronage and Migrant)

We will make every effort to prevent this from happening. Before starting cooperation, you will have the opportunity to ask all the questions. We will also talk about possible risks, possible scenarios, so that the decision to join the program is conscious and responsible. However, if something beyond your control happens that actually prevents you from continuing to participate, we will not force you 🙂

Can I be the only person helping or do I have to be in a group? (Patronage) 

There is strength in a group! The model assumes coordinated help in a group of several people. If you do not have one, we will help you join a group that is being formed.

Can I join an existing group? (Patronage)

Yes. We will help you with that.

If at the time of your application a group is already forming that will join the program but it still lacks a link - we will let you know.

Will someone prepare me for work on this model beforehand? (Patronage) 

Sure! Before starting cooperation, we provide substantive preparation for this process. We will also provide the opportunity to ask questions, we will try to answer all of them. We are also available during the cooperation. We will help with dilemmas or potential problems. There will be workshops available that will help in regards to the preparation of the model.
